Enloe Museum Continues Research Documentation and Exhibit Collection in 2019

Staff at the Clara Foster Slough Museum in Enloe continue to document an enormous amount of information on area families and early settlers, and plan to increase efforts to scan and upload selected information onto the internet.  Initial plans are to upload the documents onto 'Facebook', in album form.

Also, the museum volunteers are hoping to add to the growing military collection, displayed in the newest expansion project which has been completed.  With the Military Exhibit expansion complete, a focus of museum volunteers will be on some exciting new exterior projects in 2019 !

Make sure to plan a visit to the museum when you are in the area !  The Enloe Museum is open most Fridays, and often times during the week.  For Saturday and Sunday visits, it is best to call ahead, and arrange for staff to open the building prior to your visit, so we can warm the building up for your comfort !!  To schedule a visit, contact Richard Duncan at (903)784-8114.   We can also be reached via email, at EnloeMuseum@gmail.com
