Flat Stanley visits Enloe

Enloe, Texas recently had a visitor of world reknown fame, when Stanley Lambchop came to town.  'Flat Stanley', a character from the 1964 book written by Jeff Brown, has entertained children for many decades, and lives on in school projects even now.  The Flat Stanley Project, allows children to use the character to visit interesting locations all over the world, via mail.

The first grade class at Faith Christian School, in Anniston, Alabama, sent Flat Stanley to Enloe for a tour around town.

After Flat Stanley's arrival, he attended service at the Enloe Methodist Church, where he enjoyed the fellowship of a packed house on Easter Sunday.

After the service, Flat Stanley visited the Clara Foster Slough Museum, where he enjoyed the tour of interesting artifacts from the Delta County area.

We would like to thank Riley Johnson and Mrs. Huie's First Grade Class, at Faith Christian School, for including the Enloe Museum on Flat Stanley's tour schedule.  Flat Stanley returned to Anniston, Alabama with pictures and a few souvenirs.  We would like to welcome his return for a visit with the next class, for even more adventures.
