Exciting plans are underway in Enloe, as the Clara Foster Slough Museum members are currently beginning the design stage of an expansion of the facility. An addition is being planned to extend the current facility, which will allow for a dedicated exhibit area for the increasing collection of military memorabilia. Also, a portion of the expansion will be dedicated to the area railroad artifacts, which will include a working topographical railroad display of the area, and a functioning telegraph office.
As an added bonus, by relocating the current military collections to the dedicated wing, the ever expanding genealogy and research area can be better utilized with the increase in available space.
